Domestic Hotel Chain – Valuation – India

Overview:

A leading international hotel group commissioned Horwath HTL India to provide brand, business and asset valuations in relation to a domestic hotel chain that had been acquired by the international hotel group. The valuation was required principally for the purpose of annual impairment testing.

A valuations report based on an earnings based model was prepared by Horwath HTL India. Asset valuations for certain select hotels part of the domestic hotel chain were also conducted as part of this chain-wide valuation.

Implementation / Current Status:

The annual valuation report submitted by Horwath HTL India is used as a basis for impairment testing.
